What I Avoid When Photographing Weddings in Greece (So You Can Relax)
Planning a destination wedding in Greece is a dream — and I’ve made it my job to protect that dream. As a Greek wedding photographer who’s worked with couples from around the world, I know firsthand how the magic of a Greek wedding can quickly become overwhelming if you’re working with the wrong people or the wrong mindset.

What I avoid when photographing weddings in Greece (So you can relax)
This isn’t just about beautiful photos (though yes, you’ll have those). It’s about how those photos are made — with presence, connection, and ease. Over the years, I’ve quietly observed what makes a wedding day flow effortlessly… and what turns it into chaos. I’ve learned that what I avoid doing is just as important as what I offer.
So here’s what I don’t do — and why that makes your life easier.

1. I Don’t Overbook Myself
Some photographers do 60+ weddings per season. I don’t. I limit the number of weddings I take on every year because I want to give my full creative energy, attention, and heart to each one. If we work together, you’re not just another date on a calendar — you get all of me.

2. I Don’t Shoot With a Clock in My Head
This is your once-in-a-lifetime moment — not a rushed mini session. I create space in your timeline to breathe, soak it in, and enjoy it. Real emotion happens when people aren’t being rushed.

3. I Don’t Work With Unfamiliar Teams
A chaotic vendor team creates tension. I’ve built strong relationships with trusted planners, makeup artists, and florists who share the same love for detail and care. If you’re still building your team, I’m happy to recommend people I trust.

4. I Don’t Pose You Like a Catalogue Model
You’re not a mannequin, and this isn’t a photoshoot for a dress brand. I’ll gently guide you to look your best, but I focus on moments — the real ones. The way your hands touch. The way you glance at each other. The way your mom cries during your vows.

5. I Don’t Outsource Editing to Strangers
Your photos aren’t going to be sent off to an editing factory. I personally edit every image with care, one by one. You get my eyes, my style, my emotion — every step of the way.

6. I Don’t Ignore the Light
Greece has incredible light — and challenging sun. I scout locations in advance, time things around the golden hour, and know when the shadows are too harsh. Your photos will glow for the right reasons.

7. I Don’t Treat Your Day Like a Checklist
Every wedding is different, and I treat it that way. I want to know your story. Your vibe. Your priorities. So your photos feel like you, not like a template.

When you book a photographer, you’re not just hiring someone to show up with a camera — you’re trusting someone with your memories. I take that seriously.
